Set in a pine forest, Christchurch Adventure Park creates a vibrant hub for recreation. Four black-clad buildings form a “village green,” with a folded-roof café anchoring the site and opening to a large deck. Prefabricated construction helped meet tight time and budget constraints. Winner of the NZIA Canterbury Architecture Award 2017, the park was praised for its clarity and consistency of approach, delivering a resilient, community-centred destination for locals and visitors alike.
