This multi-unit development is a benchmark for urban regeneration in central Christchurch. The design responds to Rauora Park, an adjacent heritage façade, and nearby urban edges. Lofty interiors are cleverly planned with services tucked away, while elegant brick detailing ensures durability and refinement. Winner of the NZIA Canterbury Architecture Award 2022, the project was praised for its “well-resolved forms and considered relationship with surrounding context.” It stands as an exemplar of medium-density housing that balances economy, livability, and civic contribution.
